Drill, tap, repeat

Modifying a front 19 inch Sporty wheel for rear use. Stage one done. Drill the rotor hole, tap it to a 7/16X14, and repeat. I machined a spacer with a bearing on the drive side to reduce stress on the wheel bearings. I will be offering this as a kit for the DIY guy.

Drop it

Installed a drop seat hard tail the other day. Wow, was this thing tweaked. A combination of him cutting the rear half of the frame off with no motor or fixture in it, and a tweaked hard tail made this a bit of a challenge to install. It took a piece of 2" X 3/16" wall tubing, 8 feet long to straighten it before welding. Looks good now though.

America...sucks?

Well, I'm glad someone said it. I know it's a movie clip, but I ABSOLUTELY agree.

The roof is on fire...

Seriously...it's on fire. This is NUTS!!! There are now 14 or 15 fires going here in Colorado and one is almost on my door step. It won't reach my house, but holy crap, this is bad. I can actually see the flames now. I've been saying I wanted a forge, but this isn't exactly what I had in mind.

Riddle...y me this.

Got a Ridley motorcycle in last week. I was the only guy in the state that would even look at it. It's a 2007 Autoglide. Here's the deal. It would not run over 60 mph and the owner complained that it had no power. I rode it and it felt like a gearing issue, more than  a power issue. I diagnosed it as a worn drive clutch assembly and trashed belt. Ridley wants $750.00 for the drive clutch. It's a Comet torque converter and sells for less than half what Ridley (or whoever bought Ridleys asset's)wants. Fixed the problem. If you need one of these, call me. I now have a great source for parts on these.
